Revised By-Laws Were Approved.
These were the first revisions in over a decade providing a more focused governance structure. The most significant changes include reducing the number of Board Members from 24 to 9, and enables a Director to be appointed from the Loggers Council, Tree Farm Committee, and Sustainable Forestry Initiative State Implementation Committee for a total of 12 maximum. No company may have more than 2 Directors elected, assuring a Board of Directors that represents the diversity of memberships. It will take a couple years to transition to the new structure.
