Fall Foliage

It would seem that the very wet summer and early fall is having a negative effect on the fall foliage in the region. There still has been no real increase in the amount of color, and that is very odd for where we are in October. The higher elevations along the Appalachians are usually showing at least moderate color by now. We have received reports of leaves turning dull color and simply falling to the ground. This may be due to fungus, a direct result of the abundance of precipitation.
