Dear friends,
I hope you’ll forgive this impersonal email. I have over 100 people to notify that we have postponed the memorial for Roger because of the forecast path and potential problems of Hurricane Florence. Roger’s sister must be available to evacuate her mom, and my family is concerned about water in their basement. The gentleman hosting for me, who lives in western NC, may need to help his son and grandchildren in Charleston, SC.
Roger’s Memorial Reunion is rescheduled for October 6th at Rhema Christian Center, 1-4 p.m. (same time, same location). It was a tough call and made for a long day.
I can’t even bear to think of the ripple effects for so many. Never dreaming a problem like this would arise, I regret the inconvenience to you and truly hope this doesn’t jeopardize your opportunity to join us October 6th from 1-4 in Lewisburg…Thank you. Sincerely, Marlo
