Over the past year we’ve heard from ATFS leaders that the work required to administer the ATFS program and process certification requires a great deal of effort, limiting the time you have to work directly with landowners. One way we are working to remove this barrier is by hiring dedicated regional ATFS staff to take on elements of certification administration, among other important duties, so that state programs have more time to focus on landowner outreach, education and recognition. The American Tree Farm System (ATFS) need your help to find the best talent who will support your work. These positions will join the current ATFS staff to further support ATFS state programs and the unique issues you face in your regions.
