The WV Loggers Council (WVLC) will implement regional meetings to engage with loggers on a more local basis. The first two regional meetings have been scheduled as follows:
- June 11 at the Pine Lodge Steakhouse, 1520 Deep Creek Drive, McHenry, MD. This meeting is in conjunction with the Mountain Loggers Group Meeting.
- June 12 at the Steer Steakhouse, 359 Beverly Pike, Elkins, WV.
Both will start at 6pm with supper (separate meal-checks). Then, at 7pm there will be a guest speaker, Kris Belcher of Nash & Powers Insurance Agency. Kris discuss the Workers Compensation Insurance alternatives he offers to WV Loggers. If you pay high Workers Compensation premiums, Kris may be able to cut your costs significantly.
WVLC Chairman, Bill Robinson, will be attending both meetings and will offer his perspective on how Kris has been able to cut his Workers Comp cost in half. WVLC invites all loggers, and those interested in logging, to attend a meeting and learn how you might reduce your Workers Compensation costs.
