During this past year a young firefighter with the WV Department of Forestry lost his life in the line of duty while working on a wildfire in WV. This firefighter, Cody Mullen, was a young Service Forester with the Department and was very passionate about the forest resources of WV and most of all he was passionate about helping others. To carry on his passion and legacy, Glenville State College has created a scholarship on behalf of his name. To date, WVFA members have donated just shy of $5,000 to the fund.
