Congressman Dave Brat (R-VA) plans to introduce the Right to Haul Act of 2017 soon. The bill exempts weights for agricultural loads traveling on Federal highways if state agricultural regulations are met; individual state weight limitations for an agricultural commodity [including forestry] that are applicable to State highways shall be applicable to the Interstate System within the state.
